A Super Simple Breakfast

This is such a simple dish! Its zingy and bright and will liven up your day in the best possible way!

Grapefruit is a nutrient powerhouse. It is full of immune strengthening and metabolism boosting goodies, plus this recipe takes grapefruit to the next level with a mix of spices, natural sugars and grilling.

Grilled Grapfruit-1
Serves 1
Prep time 5 minutes, cook time 10 minutes

1 Grapefruit
½ teaspoon of cinnamon
½ teaspoon of vanilla bean powder
1 tablespoon of agave nectar or honey
2 tablespoons of yoghurt – soy/almond if vegan
½ mango chopped finely – optional, plus any other fruits you like
Chop off bottoms of the grapefruit so fruit will sit flat when grilling. Turn grill to high.
Cut around the flesh and down each segment. Be careful to not cut through the skin. This will allow for easy removal once grilled.
Grill grapefruit for 5 minutes until edges start to brown, sprinkle on cinnamon and vanilla and return to grill for 3-5 minutes.
Take out and top with yoghurt, fruit and agave nectar or honey.
